DEED 153 ACRES
This Indenture made the twenty first day of July One thousand eight hundred between
John Powers and Prudence his Wife of the County of Harrison and State of Virginia
of the one part and JOSIAH of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth that
they the said John Powers and Mary his wife for and in Consideration of the sum
of one hundred and forty Dollars to them in hand paid doth bargain and Sell unto
the said JOSIAS LAMBERT and his heirs one certain tract or parcel of Land lying
in the County aforesaid being part of a Tract of six hundred acres granted by
Patent to said John Powers Situate on the Waters of ANN MOORS RUN and Bounded
as follows Doth ___ _____ Beginning ... Containing one hundred and fifty four
Acres ... to the said JOSIAH LAMBERT and his heirs that they the said John Powers
and Prudence his Wife and their Heirs the said one hundred and fifty four acres
of Land with its appurtenances unto the said JOSIAH LAMBERT and his heirs against
all persons whatsoever. Will forever Warrant and defend. In Witness Whereof the
said John Powers and Prudence his Wife have hereunto subscribed their names and
affixed their Seals.

This Indenture made this first day of February one Thousand and seven hundred
and ninety five between JOHN POWERS & Prudence his Wife of the County of Harrison
and State of Virginia of the one part and JOSIAS LAMBERT of the other part.
Witnesseth that the said John Powers and Prudence his Wife for and in consideration
of the sum of one hundred and fifty three Dollars to them in hand paid Doth bargain
and sell unto the said the said JOSIAH LAMBERT and his heirs one certain tract
or parcel of Land Lying and being in the County of Harrison and the State of
Virginia and being part of a tract of six hundred Acres Situate on the Waters
of SHIN AND KOONS RUN and bounded as followeth to Wit
Beginning on the North ... containing one hundred and fifty three Acres Together
with all its Appurtenances To Have and To Hold the said one hundred and fifty
three acres of land with its appurtenances to the said JOSIAH LAMBERT and his
Heirs to their use and behoof of him the said JOSIAH LAMBERT and his Heirs to
the forever and the said John Powers and Prudence his Wife for themselves and
their Heirs doth covenant with the said JOSIAH LAMBERT and his Heirs that they
the said John Powers and Prudence his Wife and their heirs the said one hundred
and fifty three Acres of land with its appurtenances unto the said JOSIAS LAMBERT
and his heirs against all persons Whatsoever will forever Warrant and defend
