12. Janet ALLARDYCE *¹⁰ was born about 1480.

Janet ALLARDYCE * and Alexander IRVINE *, 7th Laird of Drum were married about 1498. Alexander and Janet were 1/2 1st cousins if Janet's mother is correct. Alexander IRVINE *, 7th Laird of Drum^1,6 (son of Alexander IRVINE *, 6th Laird of Drum and Janet KEITH *) was born after 1476 in Scotland. Between 1527 and 1552 he was a 7th Laird of Drum. He died after 1552 in Scotland. He a 15th great grandfather of PLO.

He was the 7th Laird of Drum, he had a charter for the Lands of Forglen from his father dated 10 Sep 1499. Took an active part in events during the minority of Queen Mary. Surrendered Drum and all its land to the Crown in 1552, but obtained a re-grant in favour of his grandson on 12 Feb 1553. [- Gordon Price]
