80. Louisa (Lavisa) CURRENT was born about 1796 in Maryland. She was a 1st cousin twice removed of Althea Current.

Louisa Current and Peter Current (who married Rebecca Jones of the Jacob Jones line) were 1st cousins. [-PLO]

Louisa (Lavisa) CURRENT and Charles REDMAN were married on 11 Jul 1839 in Vermilion, Illinois.¹⁰⁵ Charles REDMAN¹⁰⁶ (son of John REDMAN and Elizabeth FORTH) was born about 1810. He died after 1880 in Wisconsin. He was a 3rd cousin twice removed of Althea Current.

In August 1858 he was tarred and feathered and ran out of Potosi for keeping ladies for immoral purposes in his cabin in "Dutch Hollow."


RE: The brothers and mother of Charles:

"Henry and Samuel were written up in the Grant County History Book and called miners and outlaws in the Potosi area. They were in the 1850 census with their mother Elizabeth, but by the 1860 census all three were dead."

Louisa (Lavisa) CURRENT and Joshua BARTON were married before 1821. Joshua BARTON (son of Joshua BARTON and Mary AMOS) was born about 1787 in Maryland. He died on 8 Jul 1852 in Bourbon, Kentucky. Louisa (Lavisa) CURRENT and Joshua BARTON had the following children:
