260. Sarah Ellen CURRENT²²⁹ was born on 20 Feb 1830 in Henry, Indiana.²³⁰ She was 'stricken with paralysis' and became an invalid on 13 Jan 1886.²³¹ She died on 15 May 1893 in RedKey, Jay, Indiana. She was buried at Hillcrest Cemetery, Redkey, Jay, Indiana.

Sarah Ellen CURRENT and Daniel BIRD were married on 15 May 1853 in Henry, Indiana. Daniel BIRD (son of Joseph BIRD and Rachel YOUNG) was born on 8 May 1831 in Sussex, New Jersey. He was a blacksmith. He was with Company K, 21st Regiment, Indiana Volunteer Infantry in Sep 1864. He was given an honorable discharge on 22 May 1865. He was a victim of a 'runaway accident' causing serious facial scars on 16 May 1877. He died on 22 Jan 1904 in RedKey, Jay, Indiana. He was buried at Hillcrest Cemetery, Redkey, Jay, Indiana. Sarah Ellen CURRENT and Daniel BIRD had the following children:
