393. Stephen Anson CURRENT¹⁶⁰ was born on 19 Aug 1857 in Either Delaware, Indiana or Vernon, Missouri. He died on 2 Aug 1942 in Nevada, Vernon, Missouri. He was buried at Newton Cemetery, Nevada, Missouri.

Steven Current the youngest son of John and Martha did not marry until he was 32. Steven and Laura were married and lived near Warrensburg. In 1900 Steven was farming near Warrensburg, Missouri and according to the census had a 19 year old black man as a boarder who was probably a hired hand. This information found by Steve Current his namesake. He saw in a Warrensburg Mo directory for 1901 Stephen was listed as a carpenter, but no address was listed. In 1910 census Stephen had moved his family to Nevada. He and Laura Jane lived in Nevada until their death. Stephen died at the home on Hickory and Ash.

Stephen Anson CURRENT and Laura Jane STONE were married on 5 Mar 1890 in Warrensburg, Johnson, Missouri. Laura Jane STONE¹⁶⁰ was born on 13 Oct 1860 in Illinois. She died on 13 Dec 1947 in Nevada, Vernon, Missouri. She was buried at Newton Cemetery, Nevada, Missouri. Stephen Anson CURRENT and Laura Jane STONE had the following children:
