Your Personal Year

There are many ways of working with numbers in the study of Numerology. There has been a ton of books written on the subject, because we each see things differently. Even the student will see the problem different from the instructor.

So in that light let me explain how I feel and what works for me. I have found that first we must learn the basics of anything. What makes that something “tick”. Since Numerology can be classed as a Science, in order to work with it we must first learn the basics.

This session will be devoted to determining the “Personal Year”. That is, the numerical vibration that you are working with this year.
By the way, not all that I know about Numerology has come from books. Much of it has come from Spirit. Moonbeam loves to show me new things all the time.

Let’s start with some ground rules. For the personal year we will be using the month and day of birth, not the year of birth. We add the year in question to the month and day.

The Personal Year is fiscal. It runs from birthday to birthday, not January to December. Example. If your birthday is in March and you are doing the calculations in May, then you are to use the current year. But if your birthday is in October and you are doing the calculations in May, you are to use the preceding year.

Let’s do one. The birthday is May 23 (5-23)
So we add 5+2+3=10 and 2+0+0+1=3 for a total of 4. Got it?
Here is another one. The birthday is October 14 (10-14)
So we add 1+0+1+4=6 and 2+0+0+0=2 for a total of 8.

Now the interpretations.

1. This will be a year of starting over. A year of new beginnings. The past 10 years are history and we are now to use those experiences to build a new future. A brand new start. A new journal has been given to us to open and write on the now blank pages. To fill those pages with our new accomplishments and our new hopes and our new dreams. The downside to a one year can be loneliness. Being on your own.

2. This can be a year of partnering. Not only in business, but on a personal level also. A year of sharing. If you do not currently have a partner and are wanting one, this could be the year. The downside to a two year can be co-dependency. If you are co-dependent in any way this will be enhanced this year.

3. A year of self expression. This is the year the world can see you as who you really are, if that is what you want. If not then make sure that how you present yourself this year is really the way you want the world to see you. This is the year you can REALLY get your point across. Your talents will be surfacing and working for you. The downside of a three year can be misunderstanding. People seeing things in you that are really not there.

4. This number is one that many people dread. It is that dirty filthy four letter word……WORK. But don’t dread it, this year you will probably be working hard but you are either laying the ground work for the future or reaping the harvest from experiences of hard work in the past. The down side of a four year, you will accomplish nothing without working hard for it. No free rides this year.

5. Freedom and Change. These two things are going to be uppermost in your life this year. Many, many changes this year. This is not the year to put down those deep roots. The may be a move this year, there may be a change in job, partner, church, ideas. Your entire life can be affected. The down side can be what I call forced freedom. Freedom that you were not expecting. A divorce, a job loss, loss of a home, loss of a life long friend.

6. Family, home and responsibility. You will probably have a lot more responsibility this year. Don’t be surprised if much of it stems around family and home matters. I can’t say that there is a specific “down side” for this year. Responsibility carries it own punishments and rewards. And there is the hook.

7. Lessons, schooling. If you ever had or have plans to go to or back to school, this could be a very good year for that. You can also be given opportunities to teach. Maybe not even being aware that you are teaching. Someone around you will be learning special things from you this year. The down side this year is major life lessons. Something or someone is coming home to roost.

8. Balance and management. This year will be a balancing year. The scales will be balanced! Maybe you will get a job weighing things. You may be taking on a management position at work. The down side, the scales of Justice are always in balance. Maybe not balancing in our favor but, balancing all the same.

9. This is a year of endings. This is a year of unconditional love. This is the year to finish. Finish cleaning out all those old feelings that have kept you a captive for so very long. To shine the light of truth on something that has been in the dark for so long. Clean it all out, get rid of it all, so that when next year rolls around (a one year, new beginnings) you will be able to start with a clean slate. This is the year you really learn, practice and receive unconditional love. The down side endings. Maybe not endings you like, but endings.

And so my dears we are back to one. The cycle continues. As does life. As do the numbers. This is only a very small taste of Numerology. There are many other facets to it. Hope you enjoy the numbers as much as I enjoy teaching you about them.
