and remove them. Good quality grazing, or hay (for most of us!!), make sure they
have somewhere to get out of the sun, and use fly spray, or if you are lucky enough
to have a stall, put them out at night, and stall them during the day, this
will help their coats not to bleach from the sun. We had a GREAT Pleasure show on May 19th, even with the rain, lots of riders stuck it out, and had a good day!! Pleasure shows will start again in the Fall, due to high temps. we do not have them during the Summer months. Sept., Oct., and Nov. will be our next set of shows. Barrel shows continue every first Sat of the month, except July, which is always held on the 4th!! The Club needs donations to help with this show!! I know that many of us are donating daily to help support the Fireworks Fund, and we are also collecting for the City Firework Fund, but if you could help us too, we could sure us it!! We are a small town, but We got BIG Hearts, and we help each other as much as we can, I try to work with the community kids, the Teen Center, the Boy Scouts, and of course my club as much as possible. If you would be interested in working with the Saddle Club, please contact me, Thank You! As you travel thourgh your day, make it a point to give the gift of a SMILE to someone... Dear Friends, As we trot into Spring there are a few things to remember to do for your Equine buddy!!! Are your shots up to date, have you been on a deworming program??? The days are longer, and will soon be hotter, and more humid, so make sure you have ample fresh clean water for your friend. Check pastures for poison weeds that may be growing, |
