From the Horse’s Mouth

     We had our regular meeting on Feb. 14th. We were contacted by Bob McCray about helping with parking for the History Festival weekend and to be in the parade. Parking will be done by mounted members, and we will have local riders around town, and the battlefield.

     We have decided to have our 5th Annual Kids Rodeo this fall. The exact date will be announced later. This will give us time to get the necessary donations that it takes to hold this event.      I need to ask ALL riders to remember that you are responsible for your horses sidewalk accidents!! I know that many riders are not members of our club, but you should still be considerate of your friends and neighbors and get off your mount and clean up the mess. Please kick it off into the grass. I was called by Mrs. G. Snowden after someone left a mess in front of her home. Thank you for your help in this matter.
