selected for both Barrel and Pleasure. Our First show will be on Sat. Feb 2nd, with registration opening at 9am, and the show will start at 10am. Our entry fees for 2002 will be $5.00 per event, plus a $5.00 grounds & insurance fee. We offer club memberships as follows, single $20.00 and family $25.00. Children under 18 MUST have an adult join with them.

One of the items discussed at the meeting was the grant for the Lake Helen Multipurpose Arena/Equestrian Center & Trailhead. A motion to support this endeavor, and to provide WVSC financial information to the City for the purpose of the grant was made, and a second was made. Motion passed. We will of course support this multi-purpose center for our City, neighbors, children. A Center that we can all enjoy many different types of programs in an outside rustic setting. We are not just horse people, ourselves, families, and children do enjoy many other types of sports, and outdoors activities. Please join us in support of this wonderful idea!!!

Several members of the club were working at the Water Festival 2002 on Jan.19th. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

We would love to have more information on the Lake Helen History Festival in April, as I’m SURE we could be put to GOOD use!!!! Have horse, will ride for free!!!
