Lake Helen Police Dept. Teen Program

The past couple of months have been very busy for the Teen Program.

In October we had our Halloween in the park. We held this event for two days in a row and was followed by our annual costume contest the next weekend.

Then in November we had a turkey dinner which was open to the public.

Following our turkey dinner we held our annual Christmas Ball which was a big turn out.

After the Christmas ball we had our food and toy drive which went very well. We would like to thank the Stover family for their generous donations and their help wrapping all the toys. We would also like to thank everyone who donated and helped with the toy drive.

For the New Year we started out with assisting with the Water Festival being held in Cassadaga. We asked our teens to help out with as many of our city functions as they are able so that they will become more involved in their community.

We will be starting early this year with getting things ready for the 4th of July. This is the biggest event the Teen Center is involved in through out the year and we encourage as many of the teens as possible to help with this function. We are really going to work on making this the best 4th of July ever!
