For the people, by the people, and about the people of Lake Helen, Florida |

Take a Look |
Just take a few minutes to walk in front of the Creative Arts Café, and see the wonderful
Tropical Water Garden display that was provided by a very talented woman
by the name of Kathy Smith, at no cost to the City of Lake Helen. Kathy lives
in Deland, but loves Lake Helen - her son Shaun works in the kitchen at the café.
Kathy wanted us to see how marvelous she can create a little paradise for
all of us. It is a natural eco-system pond, you could have in your own back yard to enjoy, or have a wonderful pond or waterfall which ever suits your fancy. Kathy has a web site, if you would like to check it out and see all the different options available just go to www.TropicalWaterGardens.com, it is truly worth checking out, especially during these trying times, it can give peace and tranquility to anyone who loves the sound of running water over rocks. I say Kudos to Kathy for being so generous with her time and talent for our quaint little town. In addition, lets all remember to support all our local businesses. (Some are new and some have been here for years.) Thank you Kathy for your time and talent to help brighten our environment up a bit.
