Skinny Child with Cash Register

Sometime in the evening of Sunday, August 26th or early morning of the 27th a very skinny child broke into the
Circle S Hardware store and went through a lot of trouble doing so.

When word reached me about the incident, I visited Barbara Peters, proprietor of the Circle S to find out what happened.

We couldn’t help but chuckle realizing the difficulty of the break-in.  A trash can was turned upside down, so the thieves could climb over the 8 foot fence.  The people in on this escapade must have known that the new window located there was made of thick Plexiglas.  But did it deter them?  Of course not.  They brought along a torch of some sort and bore a hole just big enough for a skinny child to climb through.

When Ms. Peters arrived to open her shop Monday morning, she found two doors ajar and her cash register missing.

How much money did they get for all their hard work?  About $20.00!

Anybody know where that skinny kid went with her cash register?
