The Lake Helen Historic Preservation Board thanks the City Commission for approving our first Lake Helen Museum Policy and Guidelines, thereby authorizing the development of a Lake Helen and Cassadaga Museum.

The Museum will operate under the authority of the City Commission and occupy the north downstairs room at City Hall.  The museum exists to protect the material record of Lake Helen and Cassadaga and to transfer it to future generations.  Acquisitions must relate to and interpret our local history and must meet specific standards of curation.  Museum displays will be undertaken after City Hall’s interior restoration is completed.
