Let’s Look at Lake Helen….. |

When I asked our Editor, Pat Chadwick, for information about Lake Helen’s origin,
she found me the original name and some important dates. She found this information
in a book called, Lake Helen, The Gem of Florida by Dorothy Schneider. The original name was, Prevatt Settlement. As I was doing the numbers for both the original name and the current name, there was an interesting anomaly. When I added the vowels of Prevatt Settlement, they were identically the same as the consonants of Lake Helen and the consonants of Prevatt Settlement were the same as the vowels of Lake Helen. The major change with the name change only reversed how the soul of the town was. Originally, the Settlement was a deeply spiritual place to live. It did not actually show this “face” to the public, but the foundation was deeply spiritual. The public “face” was one of knowledge - a place that put education first, at least publicly. But in the end, the town is a place that claims great independence. That is the total for the original name and also the current name. That has not changed. Under the name of both Prevatt Settlement and Lake Helen the town is founded on independence, and a desire to be first in every thing. Very good traits for an American town! As Lake Helen, the town puts education at the top of its list of important values. The public “face” seems to be leaning toward the spiritual, encouraging its residents to worship and making room for many different faiths. The “Destiny” number for Lake Helen is the number of “Freedom” and “Change”. This is really an important number for this town, because this tendency is also reflected in both names. This past year we have seen a great many endings, but that had to take place for the new things coming. From October 24, 2001 through October 24, 2002 the town will have many, many new opportunities. There will be a great deal of new doors opening for this little southern town. So, guys, hang on this can be a very exciting time for our town. I am a new comer here and do not know anything about this place. I hope the ideas I have shared with you answers some questions you may have had. |
