The People of Lake Helen

As most of our friends know, last October there was a multiple birth in town. Regina�s pugs, Yaz and Pugsley gave birth to 7 fuzzy, wuzzy little critters. I made the mistake of going to see them. However, I have to admit I had been contemplating getting a sidekick for our 10 year old black pug named Jazz.

Well, y�all know how the story goes, it was love at first sight. Even Max snuck over to Regina�s to take a peak. She had been sworn to secrecy not to tell him that I had purchased �Jazz�s Tikki Bar Floozie� which would be ready to come home right before his birthday on Christmas Eve.

Anyway, the whole point of this story is to share some of the funny things that have happened with this ball of energy.

The other day I was trying to take a nap on the couch, when Tikki put her paws up on the couch so she was nose to nose with me. Now Tikki has a breathing disorder so when her mouth is open she kind of snorts. No way to ignore a snorting dog in your face when you are trying to sleep. I opened my eyes and could do nothing but laugh. She was standing there holding her feed dish in her mouth. Guess she was still hungry.
